Havana South is a restaurant on the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, whose owners wanted to capitalize on the lack of Latin cuisine in the area. The idea was to create an experience typical of a Cuban restaurant in the heart of Little Havana.

After experimenting with different concepts, the chosen logo was nostalgic and inspired by tropical climates, a vintage aesthetic, and abuela’s home cooked meals. Working closely with the owners on everything from the name to music direction, a brand was born and the restaurant had its Grand Opening. The design was applied to various restaurant essentials including placemats, menus, and cigar afficionado favorite, match boxes.
